Tax Administrator
 
Amber has been the Tax Administrator for Jeff Davis Parish since June 2015. Amber is a graduate of McNeese State University with a B.S. of Accounting.  Amber is a member of the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators.  She is also the Louisiana School Board Association's Tax Collector Representative on the newly formed LA Uniform Local Sales Tax Board and the LA Remote Sellers Commission.  She brings with her 16 years of tax knowledge from the perspective of the private sector.  She has a unique understanding of the concerns that businesses face when it comes to reporting taxes correctly and cost effectively.  The following list are the items you will need to contact her directly for assistance:

Sales & Use Tax Auditor
 
Carolyn has been a vital part of the Jeff Davis Sales & Use Tax Department since October of 1994.  She is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge Louisiana with a B.S. in Business Management.  Carolyn has spent her time in the tax department assisting taxpayers with their account questions and payment needs.  Her vast knowledge of taxpayer accounts and intricacies serve her well in the position of Sales & Use Tax Auditor, as she is cognizant of issues the taxpayers may encounter and is able to assist them in becoming fully compliant.  The following list are the items you will need to contact her directly for assistance:
 
Jeff Davis Parish initiated audits, including but not limited to the scheduling/coordinating of such audits,associated fieldwork, collections and notifications; compliance audits, and general taxability inquiries.

Taddy has only been a member of the tax team for just over a year now.  In that short time she has demonstrated an amazing work ethic, willingness to learn and compassion for the taxpayers in our parish.  She goes the extra mile to make sure that everyone is taken care of when they walk through the door to our office.  Her vibrant personality and caring nature make her a perfect fit for taxpayer interaction.  The following list are the items you will need to contact her directly for assistance: 
 
Current and delinquent account payments, sales/use and occupancy tax return processing, credit memo issuance and tracking, vendor invoice payments, disbursement of monthly tax collections, bank reconciliation.
 
  
Tax Office Secretary
 
Ashley is the newest addition to the Tax Office, accepting the position of Secretary in August 2018.  Do not let her short tenure deceive you, because Ashley has proven she is an asset to this team.  A graduate from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a B.S. in Environmental Management Systems, Ashley brings 13 years of experience from the public and private sector.  Ashley is fully capable and ready to assist taxpayers with their needs.  The following list are the items you will need to contact her directly for assistance:
