Jeff Davis Parish School Board shall not be responsible for any electronic device carried onto the school campus by a student or parent. Photographing, audio recording, or videotaping of any persons, activities/incidents/etc. during the instructional day or on the school bus is strictly prohibited unless authorized by the school principal or his/her designee. A violation of these provisions may be grounds for disciplinary action,  including but not limited to suspension from school.

Cell phones and all other telecommunication devices must be turned off, stowed away, out of sight and not used during the instructional day or while riding a school bus.

Watches that distract from the learning environment and serve additional functions other than to keep time are prohibited.

Nothing shall prohibit the use and operation by any person, including students, of any electronic device in the event of an emergency.

CONSEQUENCES FOR CELL PHONE USAGE:

ASD (After school detention) up to 3 times 

4th - 1 day OSS (out of school suspension
