Jeff Davis District Improvement Plan

The district school improvement plan is a tool used by the district to guide curriculum and instruction as well as strategically coordinate federal, state, and local resources.  The plan is developed to address weaknesses revealed by analysis of data from student performance, monitoring, and school self-assessment surveys. The plan is aligned to the Louisiana Department of Education’s focus areas: school leader and teacher learning targets, assessment and curriculum, school and teacher collaboration, observation and feedback, and pathways to college and career. It is reviewed each year by a committee comprised of supervisors, school level personnel, and community members in order to meet the goals of student achievement set forth by the district.

The following graphic visualizes the complex, interactive nature of all the components that the district implements that lead to increased student achievement.
