 Overdosing

There is this guy I know, his name is Ricky.  Oh how everyone loved his thick, silky, black hair.  All through his life, he would receive compliment after compliment saying how lucky he was to be born with such hair.  He received most handsome in high school, prom king, and homecoming Cutie.  All the girls loved him.  Everybody knew Ricky.

Well, time passed by and Ricky had never settled down and had a family.  He loved the wild life.  But last month, Ricky had turned 48, which meant his 30th school reunion.  He was so excited to get more compliments on his hair.

On the night of the reunion, Ricky made sure his hair was perfect.  He got to his old high school, and person after person would come up to him asking, "Ricky, is that you?  My, how your hair is thinning.  Boy, I bet you're pretty upset about that, huh?"  Ricky was confused; he didn't think his hair had thinned in the least bit.  He went home upset.

That night, Ricky looked into the mirror and reality hit him.  He had been living on what he used to look like, but he really had aged.  He went to his emergency hair cabinet and reached for the Rogaine, a hair growth stimulate.  He looked on the box for suggested use and quadrupled it.  He put it all in his hair and went to bed.  That morning, Ricky woke up to alarm.  The Rogaine had worked, but way too well.  All of his head and face was a thick, glossy, black coat of hair, and his green eyes looked similar to a cat.  He went to the doctor but nothing could be done.  Ricky will not be able to live in the past anymore, but day by day, like one is supposed to live his life.
