A Falling Leaf

A leaf is falling,

can’t you see?

And the culprit is gravity.

It slowly moved,

side to side,

and air resistance was its guide.

It’s serious feelings

Were not of glee,

for it couldn’t reach terminal velocity.

If it gave to speed its all,

It could reach absolute freefall.
